::This is my battle ground of work concerning bread and butter..

::It's hard to believe pedestrians have been plying the Lacson Underpass for over half a decade already. Two decades ago, this place was unremarkable, just part of the hustle and bustle of Quiapo urbanscape. A little later it became a more disorderly place, it was a place you should be guarded against unsavory elements. Then, Mayor Atienza livened up the place. Then it fell again to the usual urban anarchy. Mayor Estrada then recently made major renovations to the place. A few years hence, the place is now teeming with vendors. This place seem to have an ebb and flow of order and chaos. Can there be a balance between pedestrian comfort and the lure of earning megabuck from renting our precious Quaipo retail space?

::Too many stalls, crowded place. Airconditioned.

::Lots of improvement happened in this place. No longer the dark and dingy underpass that you'll be scared to death.

::Wow! After sometime, Quiapo underpass has become a better place. Instead of just a n under pass, it has evolved into something like a mall. It is fully air-conditioned, it has many small stores, food kiosks (including a Macdonald's), and it is even safer now that it has Security guards stationed around its entrance and exit points..
