::The overall hotel is great, staff are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet has a lot of options from Filipino, Chinese and American dishes. Given that this is a historical hotel, main hotel is well decorated, elegant and classic. Room are good given its age. The champagne room is great for romantic dinner. The hotel is giving free shuttle service to the nearest historical spots and malls. The pool is disappointing. Recommendation: The management should put some gallery for the historical events happened in that hotel. Most tourist would want to see the history behind the place. The pool has a lot of potential if it is well maintained. Guest taking the route in second floor can see all the dirt. Management should make sure that it is well maintained and clean. The chairs foam were dirty. The tables set up facing the port has a lot of potential, you can add umbrellas, set up some romantic sunset cocktail event and conduct different cultural events like tinikling, atiatihan, in the open area before the pool. Overall the hotel is good.
