  I’ve tried different barbershops within BGC and Makati area hoping to find a kick ass barber and services. Since Slickville is newly open in Uptown Mall Taguig I decided to check it out today (November 3, 2017 - around 5:45 pm). So I got their Signature Cut** to pamper myself (Men need pampering too!). Waited just a few minutes until my turn. I got on the chair and told the barber the style that I wanted. A few minutes of cut and my hair was already styled. I waited for the barber to ask me to stand to get my hair shampooed but it didn’t happen, instead the he tilted the chair and covered my face with a dry towel. He applied a shaving liquid, I supposed, and shaved my facial hair. He also applied and massaged some liquid onto my hair and scalp. After all those he gave me a “nagmamadali / wala sa mood” massage — with more of those liquid all over my arms and hands. It’s like when you put on lotion and you feel sticky, that’s what I felt. Pindot dito, pindot doon lang ang nangyari. After the very frustrating massage, he then pressed a hot towel onto my face to wipe off the excess liquid and hair but it was the same towel he used to wipe my arms and hands, so the excess hair was transferred (Good job sir!). I was already suspicious of how my experience is going to end up. Little did I know he was already putting pomade or wax on my hair without even asking me (Not a fan of hair styling products. So, good job again sir!). The chair was back into position and made the final touches. He said “Thank you sir” and I asked if it’s all done and he replied “Yes, sir!”. So I just went and pay and that’s when I asked all the expectations I had in mind. So I was told that the liquid they applied to my hair and scalp was dry shampoo. I also asked why I didn’t get a blow dry but the barber insisted that he did even though I didn’t feel a single blow of air through my hair. Liar! Overall, I’m not satisfied with the service. Whew! Thanks **(Signature Cut 380 Traditional haircut with shampoo and blow-dry, back-of-the-neck shave, mustache trim, neck/shoulder massage, hot towel, face refresher and a styled finish)

  Discovered this through my barber who transfered here from another barbershop. Ask for Dennis, he's a great barber. They are also helpful with the products they are selling. Giving this place 4 stars for now because I visited twice already in the past 2 months but they still don't have the shampoo area set-up. Other than that, service is top notch.
