::You cannot bring meals inside ur room. We have a sick relative who can't see well due to diabetes, main reason of coming in Cebu, yet they don't allow us to bring any meal unless it is snacks. Lack of beddings, we can't request any snack like coffee to be brought inside ur room coz they don't have someone to bring those in. Thin blanket, no extra foam nor blanket can be requested. Well, the staff are amazing. They wear smiles on their faces, they say good morning/greet u, they help you, and so on. People who work in there are great. That's their big advantage. The price, it offers the best price and it is near the city proper, close to Hospital, pharmacy, restaurant/fastfood, store, and more.

::I have been coming to the Mayflower Inn for years. It used to be excellent, and like a family that you could come home to when in Cebu. Unfortunately they have declined dramatically over the past 1-2 years, and I will be looking to find somewhere else in future. Overall they no longer value their customers and their service is terrible - although always with a smile. I would avoid at all costs. Despite signs of when the cafe is open, they decide to close it 2 hours earlier, and then do not open for dinners. There are few options nearby to eat and they do not allow you to bring in food. They don't even serve snacks like they used to. Everything must be paid for in advance so you can't just get one bill at the end with it all on - which makes for a lot of paperwork. And even when you ask the staff a question and they answer with a smile then often the answer turns out to be incorrect - or they give a different answer later on. It is sad to see Mayflower go this way, and I'm not sure what has precipitated it. But overall they no longer have the permaculture-inspired ethos or atmosphere, and don't really care about their customers.

::Wow! My experienced while waiting here is very great! I highly recommend this hotel to all who wants to visit Metro Cebu.. The frontdesk are very friendly and professional. Kudos to all of staff!
