  Opened a mutual fund account on Jan 25 and its been a week but nothing has been processed. The application is nowhere to be found as well. Called the bank and was informed i should be thankful that it was not processed as I would have already incurred losses due to the decline in the market after a few days had it been processed. In other words, I should be thankful for their incompetence that at least I didn't incur any paper loss. If this is how stupid you think of your countrymen that they don't know what they're getting into then, I wouldn't be surprised why we never progress as a nation. Mind you, I only needed the online access as I'm an ofw. Let the fund manager handle the fund and leave me to decide what I want to do with my money. You only had one job and that is to process my request. smh
